We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liz, what makes you happy? Why?
First and foremost, my marriage and my family. I am a dedicated wife/mother/daughter/sister and this brings me the most joy. Second, I’d say food and travel. I love trying new food, from local to international, the more unique the better. Travel is something I’ve always enjoyed and seeing the wonders of the world with my family is very important to me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Liz, I am a wife, mom, coffee enthusiast and professional visual artist. Knowing that I needed a career that would feed my passion for creativity and give me the flexibility I craved for my growing family, I opened Liz by Design Photography, LLC in 2013. Through my love for photography, children, and artistic expression, LBDP has had the pleasure to capture life’s sweetest moments for thousands of other growing families all over the state of Georgia. Liz by Design’s studio sits in the heart of Historic Downtown Powder Springs, right outside Atlanta, Georgia. The building is from the early 1900’s, has vaulted ceilings, original brick walls, and all windows on three sides which create a gorgeous and unique space to give Liz by Design a one-of-a-kind look.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The city of Atlanta and the metro area have some truly incredible places to visit, it’s hard to name just a few but I’ll do my best! As far as visiting, a few staples are the world renowned Georgia Aquarium, Tellus Museum, Fernbank Museum, The Punchline and the Coca-Cola Museum. In regards to dining, for dinner I’d recommend Gunshow, Canoe and Poor Calvin’s. For breakfast, I love South City Kitchen, OK Cafe and The Flying Biscuit. There are always exciting events, concerts and the like going on in and around the city, for that, be sure to check out the Mercedes Benz Stadium, the Fabulous Fox Theatre, The Vortex and the Chastain Park Ampitheatre. Of course, with all of that said, I’m a little partial to the square in downtown Powder Springs!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, he has been such an important piece of my professional journey. He keeps our family running smoothly and our children led while I’m away with work. My schedule is generally full and my free time is often limited, my husband not only supports me each and every day but he is as committed to the success my professional journey as I am.
