We had the good fortune of connecting with Litty Vuitton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Litty, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business developed over time from the age of 10 years old! Sailing my first icy to the neighborhood of kids in my complex. Seeing people enjoy something I created brings joy to my soul. The first time I made money without clocking in sparked equations of digits adding up more and more that led me down the path of business ventures until I unlocked what works for me! STYLE, NOSTALGIA, and CREATIVITY LED ME TO CREATING MY CLOTHING BUSINESS!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Starkidz is all about keeping your imagination alive! We aim to awaken the Inner Child that resides in every one no matter the age. Imagination creates our reality. This very motto sets us apart! I’m most excited about our next drops we have coming! Business wise I got to where I am today through following my imagination putting it on paper then making it a reality fast forward I see others wearing my literal “thought “ manifested as a jacket! I’ve learned to take my time when cultivating a community for my brand.I want the world to know that no matter how old we become never let the inner child in you die! Keep your imagination alive!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One week with my friend coming to visit first thing we are doing is thrifting. We will hit up every GoodWill in a 20 mile radius because between me and up that’s where all the fye fits are created. We would go to Cantina 87 downtown for tacos because it’s a crime to not eat Tacos on Tuesday. We would check out cool museums to make content, I would end the week honestly cooking for my friend because it’s my favorite thing to do besides playing dress up! And lastly just chill and enjoy each others company pouring love into each other to continue on our journey we’re on.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my story I would have to shout out to my Uncle Marcus. I was 4 years old when he taught me how to meditate, how to calm the mind, how to be confident In myself with whatever I did. At 7 years old he would play this song by Nas that goes “ I KNOW I CAN BE WHAT I WANNA BE IF I WORK HARDER THEN ILL BE WHERE I WANNA BE”. Little to my knowing at the time that this song was a daily affirmation that would be instilled into my essence of my ambition that I carry in me. My uncle was only 24 at the time early 2000s what he was putting me on to was considered “ weird”nobody was talking about meditation, yoga, and the metaphysical part of life so openly like we see now! This is a big deal for me because he literally taught me how to go within get in touch with my inner voice (God) and trust and believe in myself.
