We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisseth Nava and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisseth, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my passion for the craft and the eagerness to learn and get better every time. I have two little girls who look up to me which is another factor for my drive to grow, I love what I do and I am grateful for every opportunity I have received. It has not only helped me but it has also helped my growth.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started modeling in 2012 and take a pause in 2016. I dedicated myself to my girls and the ending of 2019 I started working as a host at a woman empowerment organization which allowed me to start getting comfortable in front of the camera in 2020 a door opened of opportunities due to Covid. Many major actors were unable to be in big sets but that allowed Dallas to step up and we’re allowed to be seen. In 2020 I started my first movie called dry places. I filmed several short films. In 2021 I filmed The mogul which will be available soon in October… commercials. I have been blessed. The more I was seen radio stations, podcast and magazines began reaching out. I literally get messages from people in different parts of the world showing love which is amazing to believe that my work has reached out to all these different places.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jumping into the industry I didn’t really have much support from my family but I pursued it anyway. Upon joining the industry I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing wonderful souls. I am big on growing together and the universe has put like-minded people in my path. They have supported me and have became my film family. So a huge shout out to my DFW film family. I would like to give a special shout out to one of my friends in the industry that has been there for me since the day we met. Nicole Cavazos We just clicked onset of our upcoming movie The Mogul being released on ppv Oct8. Huge shout out to my Mogul Family, we truly have become family.
