We had the good fortune of connecting with Lil Daink and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lil, how do you think about risk?
I’m a firm believer that risk equals reward! Everyday should be a risk cause life’s risky and unpredictable so if you’re not out here putting something on the line you’re not really living. I feel like every risk I’ve taken in my career has put me in a better position each and every time. What you put in is what you get back!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always put a lot of thought into the way I create and into the presentation of what I create. The journey to where I am now has been far from easy but at this stage it has gotten a lot easier with the right people behind me and trusting myself in terms of how I want my brand to succeed. My brand is more than just music it’s a care free, smoke weed, & don’t regret shit type of lifestyle. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to be yourself and never be ashamed of who that person is.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely gotta hit MJQ for a good time in Atlanta. Then after go to Mama’s for 24/7 drive through margaritas. Then for some decent coffee gotta go to Dancing Goats or Coffee Bar Atlanta!

Over the years I’ve had a lot of support from my team, family, & close friends that have helped me stay consistent with my music.
