We had the good fortune of connecting with Liana Spells and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liana, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Honestly I always been into arts since a kid. Art class was my favorite, drawing was definitely a thing and therapeutic for me. It’s honestly the best way I can express myself without talking and the best way I feel I can connect to myself as well with others. Truly just love and an ah with creative expression in general very fascinating and genius like to me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m most excited about this next chapter I’ll be stepping into for myself and brand. I believe I got where I am professionally today just based of past decisions and wag of thinking. No it wasn’t easy but could’ve been. What I’m learning that has helped me was to just choose your purpose everyday and your hard. Go after what you really want in life and cancel out the noise

I want to world to know that when it comes to you and your success story it isn’t straight forward or always clear…it’s lots of humbling lessons that you’ll encounter just don’t let it break your spirit and keep pushing forward. I always say follow your hearts true desires and you’ll never be disappointed.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My bestie in Chicago we are definitely going a little bit of everywhere but also staying in and vibing inside

Definitely having brunch at the Whale, Fremont or Toast it is.

Going shopping downtown and in Wicker park.

Probably a purge room to blow of some steam and unwanted energy

Play some games and watch some movies at my house

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a huge thanks to my mom and dad. Both are really the introduction to my creative endeavors where it all originated from besides my bloodline as a whole. Also I want to say thanks to all of my supportive clients, without y’all how else can give back in a creative way. I truly appreciate you all for believing in me and trusting me to bring creations to life for you and others.
