We had the good fortune of connecting with Levonta Reddick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Levonta, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from Augusta Georgia. I grew up with both my parents around but separated. That came with its struggles but we maintained my parents did a great job. My brothers Ben and Cj are a big part of who I am today I was always absorbing different things from them growing up. My love for hip hop and sports came from them.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Most of my art tells stories from my life in a witty poetic way. The thing that sets me apart is just a real authentic message that comes with my music. Not being willing to say anything on a track to get the microwave fame. That’s the thing I’m most proud of about this whole process. I’m truly here thanks to my brother Mall Da Pro2er! He literally pushed me out here to share my art and provided the vehicle to navigate my way through this game, I’m forever grateful. Many lessons learned along the way from a business stand point and also just life lessons in general. You learn the law allowance because you can’t always control the narrative or how much support you get. I want the world to know that I’m REDD, artist of the VaultLyfe family and brand. I want the world to know I’m love and light at my core and I hope my words impact people in a positive way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Of course I would bring them to the hit factory! Definetly would have to stop by the Vault Lyfe Entertainment recording studios to see where all the magic happens! & with the studio being located in downtown Augusta, there’s a plethera of food spots and places to hand out and have a good time! Clubs like Truth and Oak to step out and have a drink and dance to some good music. And any of the downtown restaurants like Whisky Bar to grab some good food to eat! The new fifth street bridge would also be a good vibe to check out and walk along the Savannah river!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely want to shine light on my VaultLyfe family. When it comes to support, showing love, getting mentorship and encouragement I get it all from these people. Whether it’s a head nod at a studio session or just inspirational words to wake up to there’s always one of these few things going on in some way form or fashion.
