Hi Leisa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my business actually was something that I stumbled upon accidentally and as time went on it just began manifesting into something I wanted to do . It took me a while to figure out whether or not it was something I wanted to do and how I would go on about doing . With the. support of family , friends , and god I came to the conclusion it was something I needed to do .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I first had the idea of opening my business I always knew I wanted to be different from other retail brands and companies . The way I stumbled upon the idea of opening my own business is because growing up I always had a love for fashion . I loved to have nice shoes , nice clothes , and nice hair the only thing is a lot of places were charging a ridiculous amounts of money for the things I wanted . When I was younger I didn’t really care for how much the items were because I didn’t have as much responsibilities as I do now as an adult , as I got older I still wanted that lovely lavish lifestyle but I also had to priorities on things I wanted versus the things I needed ; and I knew I wasn’t the only one out there with that problem which is why I decided to open my business Heiress Boutiquee . I wanted to create a way for people of any gender , size and race to be able to have beauty on a budget . I wanted to provide high quality , high fashion items for affordable prices .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend visiting me for a week long trip the places I would recommended for a great experience and fun time are anything having to do with outdoors . I love being outside and there are a few great parks and beaches in my area that are amazing to visit the scenery is very beautiful , the weather is a little iffy sometimes but for the most part it pretty sunny and good enough to have a picnic / painting date . Also for fun on the beach they have waterspouts live jetskiis and bat rides that are very lovely and fun to experience . In my city there are a lot of great restaurants out there but the one I love the most is Kaluz its a beautiful waterfront restaurant with beautiful water views , amazing food , and magnificent drinks . Shopping is also very fun and therapeutic in my eyes in my area we have very big shopping centres and malls that have a variety of different places to shop at and different foods inside to try out .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The people I’d like to thank for helping me get to where I am now are my mom , God , and myself . My mother plays a big role in my life because she folded me to become the women that I am today , she showed me how to work hard for everything that I want and to always follow my heart and intuition . I am a very spiritual person and I believe that without God and universe on my side I wouldn’t have made it as far as I am now because having a connection with them allowed me to have a connection with myself and intuition . And last but not least I would like to give a shoutout to me , myself , and I because it was a hard long journey but with the help of me always pushing myself and being y own support system I was able to make it this far .
