We had the good fortune of connecting with Leeza Klimetz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leeza, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Finding a healthy balance is probably the most important thing for any business owner to learn. I am a mom, wife and business owner. I also work a corporate job in HR. When I first started my business, I was in no way prepared for the growth of my business, but as it grows, I have to adapt to that. At the beginning, I wasn’t prioritizing correctly and getting burned out very quickly. But over the past year, I’ve learned how to make the most of my time. My clients are amazing and know that I put my family first, so they understand that I limit orders around the holidays, and take time off. I don’t think a business owner will have the perfect balance – working for yourself sometimes means you’re working 24/7 – but prioritizing, scheduling my time, and being able to say no have helped me find a better balance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
A Perfect Bite is a charcuterie company located in Suwanee, GA, that specializes in custom charcuterie & grazing arrangements for any group size. This company was born from a love for good food, wine and entertaining. Food brings people together and our mission is to help our clients make memories and celebrate their important events.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we were staying local to Suwanee, we’d definitely visit Suwanee Town Center. StillFire Brewing is a great, local spot and Suwanee hosts great festivals, Food Truck Fridays and farmers markets. All the local, downtown areas OTP are really great – Suwanee, Duluth, Roswell, Norcross & Buford are my favorites. We’d have to spend some time at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Ponce City Market.

And if the Braves are at home, a game at Truist Park and hanging out at The Battery is a must. Pizza at Antico, beers at Terrapin Taproom and a visit to Punch Bowl Social.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This business wouldn’t be a business without my family. My oldest son is truly the reason I started this. And my husband is a rockstar, whether he’s delivering orders, helping me with a grazing table or taking over at home while I’m in the kitchen. I’m also extremely lucky to be in a community with other amazing business owners. I speak to Tatiana at @Cheeseboardsandthangs and Judy with @honeymelonboard a good bit and its so great to be surrounded by others that have a community over competition mindset.
