We had the good fortune of connecting with Leeshan Hyman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leeshan, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Waking up everyday makes me happy. The reason is you get another chance to do something with your life and try to reach to your goal or find a solution for anything going on in your life you need to figure out so waking up every morning definitely makes me happy

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hard work is the key to success I’m still putting in the work I’m not exactly where I want to be yet in my career so I have been working on my craft and sometimes it do gets challenging because of everyday life. It’s not and easy road my career as a musician artist it takes a lot of time dedication determination you just got to keep on going never stop. One thing I have learned tho this music career comes with a lot of ups and downs and disappointments when it comes to certain situations you just have to stay focus and know what you want and keep on going. Well I represent GLOBAL LIFE RECORDS a record label based in Philadelphia we have produced a couple artiste and couple songs and I’m a recording artist for the label also. We are working on putting out more songs and producing my riddims and get it out there so the world can hear the good music we have to provide.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I’m from Jamaica but I reside in Philadelphia. So in my city it’s a lot of things to do we have entertainment in the city various clubs and restaurants site seeings and various activities. One of the most interesting places to check out is our Independence Hall art museums and penns landing area and old city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yea I would love to shout-out to my record label GLOBAL LIFE RECORDS this is a group of friends and family from school days I grew up with they play a big part of my career they encourage me motivate me let me know I can do contribute to my ideas give me great opinions when needed and just been there as my friends and family and give me the energy to keep on going
