We had the good fortune of connecting with Leek Scotty and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leek, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process is building a brand that I have full control of as far as how I want to influence people pretty much show people that anything is possible as long as you tune out the negativity.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My music is fully original, there isn’t an artist that I based my sound off. I’m proud of the confidence and growth over the past few years.I started by just being in the studio watching then I got an opportunity to make a hook and it was up from there!! I’ve learned no matter what keep going because there is always someone in position watching. The hardest thing I had to overcome was going to shows where nobody was and releasing music with no response and I overcame by producing better content and consistency. I want the world to know that my brand is targeted to the people who get overlooked and have problems with there confidence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to eat at Bigdaddys on old national ,we would drink at Cru in Edgewood I’ll take them to Lenox mall or Atlantic station , then we could end the night at Canal Studios
