We had the good fortune of connecting with Lavish Visuals and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lavish, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Im from Hollis Queens, I lived in a middle class neighborhood growing up, but the neighborhood itself wasn’t the best. I just knew that I wanted more in life then to just grow up there and be stuck there. You see stuff in the neighborhood that you will see in everybody else hood. Just got too make sure you don’t become a product of your environment. I could of grew up to be another kid on the block but life had different plans for me.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What makes me different Is that I don’t really take no for an answer. So once I see something in my career that I want im going to get it. I’d go broke again investing into my craft because its what got me to the point where im at now Once you realize that going broke for your craft is a sacrifice that you can overcome you will never look at it and regret it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t really be going out, my circle not really that big to where I have a lot of friends. But if I do go out its spontaneous. Places like bowling and going to Manhattan to just ride around and keep imagining where I was myself to be

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The only person that keeps me going as far as my age group would be my brother. I just know I want us to live the lavish lifestyle that we dreamed about. We going to both get there, but his drive is what keeps me going. Without him ill probably still be shy and not outgoing at all. He helped me break through and get out there. He always had swag growing up and he passed a little bit onto me. The best part about us being one year apart is that, if he mess ill learn from his mistake and if I mess up he learn from mine.
