We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Holder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always known I wanted to be an entrepreneur. As a kid I remember starting a local newsletter where I went door to door collecting money for it. I don’t quite remember what it was about, and I think I only did it once or twice, but I’ve always been in the mindset to serve. As I grew up, I just knew I was going to start a business one day, but didn’t know in what. It wasn’t until 2018 where I discovered life coaching, that I began the journey of illuminating what a business could be. I’ve pivoted a few times since launching in 2020, and it allowed me to really hone in on what I wanted to offer and who I wanted to serve. I’ve been dancing with Spirit for the past 9 years, so I’ve naturally shifted my business to spiritual teaching and healing. I remember around that time I would take part in ghost walks and paranormal investigations, and I remember thinking “there’s no way I could make a living off of this”. Fast forward to today and I’m in the business of spirit! I guess I always knew what my entrepreneurship dreams would look like, even if I didn’t realize it at the time. I’m passionate about teaching others how to connect and channel with spirit. I like to think of myself as an archaeologist. I work with others to dig into the depths of their soul, and rediscover their lost magic that has been buried.

Entrepreneurship is like personal development x1000. It FORCES you to witness your humanity, and illuminates even further the shadows and limits we choose to impose on ourselves. It’s like a roller coaster of emotions – one minute you feel like you’re on top of the world, and then the next you feel like you want to run and hide. The key, I found, is to gently ride these waves through belief calibration and soul alignment. This is the intersection of our humanity and our soul. Both need to exist in order to flourish, and why I believe personal and spiritual development go hand in hand with any business! We can only grow to the level that we are able to calibrate on. And when we are aligned with our soul, we remain devoted because we CHOOSE to move forward. Choice is a powerful tool.

What should our readers know about your business?
As a Spiritual Guide & Healer, I work with people on expanding their consciousness, and opening them up the other worlds, including the supernatural realm. Like an archaeologist looking for lost magic, I bridge the gap between worlds, digging up “old artifacts” that may inspire you to rediscover your soul in new and mystical ways. I help others discover their lost magic and help them re-awaken the ancient wisdom in their soul.

I do this through the Spiritual Playground membership, 1:1 mentorship containers, and 90-minute soulful spirit sessions (Akashic Records Healings, Past Life Regression, & Spiritual Hypnosis).

Remember when you were a child and you had the space to explore your curiosities? Things were so whimsical and magical. Every new discovery was like you had unlocked some ancient secret that only you knew about. This is the foundation of the Spiritual Playground. I like to compare the membership to a playground (hence the name), but instead of slides and swings, it’s mysteries, relics and magic that we get to explore. And it keeps expanding and growing and is eve-changing. In this monthly subscription based membership, members will learn various spiritual modalities, heal through soul-expanding tools, and be guided by spirit-lead teachings. And of course, they get to hang out with cool people, make friends, and explore together!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m whimsical at heart, so we’d start off our day going for high-tea, ideally in a building from the 1800’s. After brunch, we would visit some antique shops, local markets and explore the beautiful little nature spots across the city, with gelato in hand. We’d end off the day with a walk by the water, embracing the company and beauty that surrounds us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of my good friends, Dan, has been in business for 20 years, running a company called Ghost Walks. It was actually through him that I was able to play with spirit many years ago. I’ve learned a lot from him and was always inspired by his unique livelihood. He’s always been a great mentor and friend, and there are also a few others who have helped me along the way that I’d like to acknowledge. I’ve been working with the same coach on and off since my entrepreneurship journey, and she has witnessed me through the ups and downs. It can really make a big difference to be fully seen, in that way. I can’t go without saying that I’m pretty lucky to have an amazing tight-knit family, an a small group of friends that are literal daily to me. I truly am so grateful for their love and support. I’m also pretty sure my mom and dad are my biggest fans! I am the only entrepreneur in my family, so I am also grateful to be creating a new legacy for generations to come. Lastly, a big shoutout to my fiancé Sean. He’s my rock. My foundation. My muse.
