We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Fisher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
I’ve became more balanced. I’m too busy. I manage my 8–6, my influencing career and all of the organizations that I’m in. I carve out time to rest and shut down as well as productive time to pour into my passions.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an Advisory Consultant for a Big 4 Firm based here in Atlanta. I specialize in advising clients on their supply chain solutions as well as their HR Capabilities. Outside of being a consultant, I am also a blogger/influencer (The.Leaux.Down). My education and experiences got me to where I’m at career wise. I learned to always go after what you want. No matter how hard it is, it will be worth it when you get there.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s so much to do in Atlanta. I’ll start in my own yard and hit up breakfast at Snooze in North Buckhead. From there, let’s walk my puppy Gumbo in Piedmont Park and the belt line and take advantage of the many good food places along the route (I love New Realm Brewery). Ponce City Market and Westside Provisions are always a vibe to grab food food and do some shopping. Gonna end the week at Buckhead Village and Gypsy Kitchen.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Giving all thanks to God for my successes in life
