We had the good fortune of connecting with LaTrece Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaTrece, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson my career/business has taught me is when you put God first and put in the work success will come! You’ll continue to cultivate and grow in the area at which you work the most in!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always stayed away from writing but deep down that’s who I am first! I love acting and I use to say that was first until I finally decided to write my own film “ Safe In The Sunlight “ which will soon be in film festivals and coming to a screen near you! When writing this film I was I a very dark place. I thought that once I’m done writing this film that stemmed from a dream I had everything would go back to normal! Boy was I wrong! I went through so much after this including finding out my then 5 year old had stage 4 cancer! I was still able to smile, write, & act through it all! So my lessons this far is to always stay positive, look at the bright side of things and to always put God first! And that if he gives you the vision he will give you the provision! If you see yourself as an actress , writer, director…business owner then that’s the first step! You have to see it first! Then write it down…once you do these this put in the work and trust God that all your steps are ordered by him!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my Bestfriend was coming to town I’d take them to the escape room, top golf, or somewhere we could ride go carts and act like big kids!!! and of course a nice restaurant,/ venue with live music or poetry so we could get dressed up and enjoy being adults!

A host of family and friends!
