Hi Latoric, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
I want Mocha Beauty Spa to become a imprinted establishment where melanin folks as myself can enjoy the tranquility, relaxation while indulge in the emerge essence of coffee aroma and the sense of coming to the appreciate of oneself. Professionally, my career will come to a closure once Glam Therapy is accepted by the Association Board of Psychology implementation of an non traditional method to treat array of mental emotional unbalanced and I’m awarded the Noble Peace Prize!!!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Let me introduce myself!!!! Not only I bring self care @mocha_beauty_spa to the women in my community I also promote and ensure wellness to those suffer from a disease (HIV/AIDS) taking OUR community by storm!!!! I embarked on my professional journey with one path in mind and found myself embracing quite the opposite. I attended Grambling State University with hopes of becoming a Lawyer; instead later obtained my masters in Human Relations at University of Oklahoma. Was it easy? most definitely not, raising four boys all under the age of 5, while full time employed with the state of Oklahoma, while obtaining a masters degree wasn’t for the weak and I thank God for my support system. I became an advocate for at risk youth in urban communities for nineteen years throughout the South Florida tri-countries, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta Metro Area. Additional to being a community counselor working with families with several dynamics. When I decided to embark on entrepreneurship three years ago with my trucking company Olori Logistics Svs and my online clothing boutique for fulled figure women Jojotoric Armoire. I learned although starting a business not easy but most of all “you don’t go through things in life for you but for you to bring somebody else through.” When I process the importance of bringing education and awareness to our community while emerge my all time favorite drink , uplift others whom lack self care and self awareness is where Mocha Beauty was born…..coffee always make it better and self care with a dash of glam is the ultimate Glam Therapy experience by Mocha Beauty Spa.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have several spot I often take a spin…..some may consider me a foodie and the life of the party!!! I must say I disagree 😉 I love the sushi and ambience at Ra Sushi Bar, Bangkok Station for amazing Thai I haven’t found anything to replace the bomb after hour spot on the Southside of Atlanta Piano Bar but if the establishment was still around it definitely would be on my agenda Monday, Thursday and Saturday night. Atlanta Breakfast Club Sunday morning breakfast and wrap our day relaxing next to a nice body of water in Fayetteville, Ga

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely shoutout to my four KINGS Amúri, Ahmad, Armani and Amir Kelson they have been my ultimate inspiration it’s a legacy they must carry and I envision they will carry it well. My mother and her village; they believe and support me often when I doubted myself. Last but not least….. Major shoutout to MY HBCU no other than Grambling State University where I came to realize “I AM SOMEBODY”!
