We had the good fortune of connecting with Last Days and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Last, why did you pursue a creative career?
I choose an artistic career because I love everything that art embodies music, fashion and art. I like the creative element that allows us to express ourselves. For me music allows me to share my creativity with the world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I most proud of being myself and not compromising my sound to fit in with what’s always trending. I like to create music that is true to me. I’m excited about my new project that’s coming out in February “Boston Boy 2”. I’ve put a lot of work and time into this album and I’m excited to share with the fans. My first single off the project will is “Typical Whore (DIOR)”, There were challenges, however, I stay on my grind. I feel like prayer and building strong relationships really help me forge my position. I want the world to know that I’m an independent artist out of Boston that’s looking to make a mark on the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Boston isn’t too exciting to visit unless you into sports, however, hanging with me you will always have a good time. Some must go-to places are especially if you’re into shopping Copley Mall, and Newbury Street. To eat people have to Slades its amazing soul-food spot everyone from Malcolm X to President Obama has eaten here, Simcos, Vaughn Fish and Chips, Wingz and Thingz, these are the must visit spots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would shoutout my family and my children the are my biggest inspiration and motivate me to pursue my career. However, musically artists such as 50 Cent, Nas, Biggie Smalls, and Fat Joe inspired me lyrically. I really respect their pen and handle they had on the craft. They have paved the way for Hip Hop artists.
