Hi LaShonte’, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My Favorite quote “It’s better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one instead of having an opportunity and not be prepared.” I first heard this quote from Les Brown.

Being a visionary, this quote means to me if I always put my best foot forward and whenever the opportunity presents itself, I will be ready! I also like that this quote gives you hope. Hope that one day your hard work will pay off and that one door you needed to be open OPENED!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Amour Biologique is a research & development company that conveniently creates natural topical infused skin & hair care products for professionals in the beauty industry. We understand that most professionals spend 12-14 hours a day on their feet and the last thing they want to do is go home to make products.

We offer professionals two different types of white labeling partnerships our DIY (Do It Yourself) or DFY (Done For You). Either partnership help condense time in a professional work week allowing them to gain more quality family or personal time.

One thing I’m most proud about is that my children now get to physically see what I’ve built for years come to fruition.
I am excited to move forward with expanding Amour Biologique in my city, state, national and international.

Today I got here by building intentional genuine relationships and not giving up. Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. You have to be mentally tough to face ongoing challenges that comes your way. I consistently Pray, journal, read and check my energy (my term). Most people don’t realize a form of wealth is peace. A book I keep in rotation to help me with not giving up is Rhinoceros Success by Scott Alexander. This book is short to the point but impactful.

Lessons I learned along the way is 1) start with God, he gave you the vision God know the steps you suppose to take 2) you can’t get far alone, you must have a solid team (build relationships) 3) there will always be people who don’t see nor understand your vision keep going find other big thinkers who are making moves. 4) Your vision was giving to you not others it’s okay if they don’t understand the assignment 5) Its okay to separate yourself from your old life. one day you will live they life you dream about on a nightly basis 6) Never be afraid to step out/ take risk by yourself that’s how you learn 7) ask for help 8) don’t just take give also 9) No Dream is too big. 10) Write your goals down daily.

My story: Creating products wasn’t a trend for me it was personal! I was a victim of a chemical burn, which lefted me no choice but to learn how to create my own natural products.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would book our massages at ” Relax at Hand” & “One Ocean”, visit “Cummer Museum of Arts & Gardens”, go snorkeling at “Devils Den”, go to “Top Golf”, go to a soccer game, ride scooters downtown at night, go to the zoo, eat brunch at “Pink Salt”, “RH Rooftop Restaurant”, “Stars Caribbean Restaurant”, have dinner at “Three folks”, “Cowford chop House”, “Terra Brazilian Steakhouse”. Hang out night life and drinks “Legacy Lounge”, “Aromas Cigar Lounge”, “Atlantis”. We would even take a trip to Orlando Florida to visit a theme park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh, my goodness giving a shout out to only one person is asking for trouble! First, I would love to shout out my children. For years they have watched as I built a business from ground up, spent countless of hour’s studying barely sleeping and always on the go. Second, I have to give a shout out to my family, friends and mentors you all allowed me to bounce ideas after ideas and never telling me to hush! Lastly, lets shout out everyone who did have the courage to speak against my visions because of you I have a mental note “I can show you, better than I can tell you”.
