Meet LaRodney Haynes: Actor, Model, Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with LaRodney Haynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaRodney, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I’ve always been very ambitious and attentive to my challenges and goals. I’ve adopted many different habits and applied them to my work to see what is most effective towards my success. I would have to say the best habit that’s been most effective is prioritizing my time to take care of what is needed without procrastinating. I truly believe this can help minimize missing major opportunities and put you in rooms you would never believe.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m an entrepreneur I’m into multiple ways of creating a successful environment for myself. My main areas of focus are Acting and Professionally Modeling. This has been a very exciting but difficult journey. I started my first debut with modeling in runway fashion show in Grenada, MS in 2015. I was very nervous and new to environment. However, I did well, and the love and support I received kept me consistent. Since then I’ve been in multiple fashion shows and made my first appearance on a television show as an actor. So many times I wanted to give up and do something different. But when I tried it seemed as if God steered me right back here. Those were signs, and what I needed to do was be patient and consistent that’s all. I want the world to know how my journey started and different things I did to navigate myself into better positions. I work so hard. There’s so much that happens that is not on camera..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Atlanta, Atlanta, Atlanta! I moved here in 2016 and I’ve grown to call this place home. There’s so much to do whether you’re a single person wanting to have fun or a couple with children who’s looking for family events. When my friends come into town the main thing we usually do is eat! Hahaha. So many different culture of cuisines to try it’s almost impossible to get bored with the variety.

So if we had a week long vacation, we would go to a nice bar and grille place like Taco Mac, 656 Sports bar grille, etc. We would then go somewhere like a day party at a lounge or go to Andretti go-kart course. It’s really too much to really just say on here because with the variety of things to it just sort of depend on the crowd I’m entertaining and their interests.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a strong group of individuals who are very supportive and eager to see me succeed. First, my father has been the best motivator and father a son could ever ask for. He’s always been there for me physically, mentally and even financially in times. Just seeing that support from a parent created levels of confidence within myself I could’ve ever imagined. I have supportive friends who are in the same line of business; therefore, it makes it easier to understand the type of situations that are presented and how to deal with them. I have two very close friends who have been phenomenal supporters since I really proceeded into this career preference. Not only do they support me, but we’re able to relate on so many other external/internal factors that adds to our success. I will forever be grateful for my team.
