Hi Lamyra, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote is “Faith without works is dead”, it’s based on the scripture James 2:14. It shows the true honesty of what it means to work hard and having faith in your dreams. Even though you believe in your dreams if you don’t have the right work ethic or plan that dream will never come into reality.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a property manager for Multi family developments. I have been in this industry for nine years. I’ve always been a people person, and when I was living in a student living facility I actually sparked a conversation with the assistant manager and she offered me to be a leasing agent for the property. I was so scared because you never really realize what the people in the leasing office do until you get into this industry. I ended up being a natural fit, I fell in love with this profession. Helping people find A new home and seeing their excitement in the process is the most rewarding feeling I have. Creating a sense of community and a strong relationship with my residence is one of my biggest goals on any property that I am over..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First off who doesn’t love brunch, I am totally a breakfast/brunch kind of girl. First place I’m going to is Hammerheads Daiquiri Bar. They have the best daiquiris in the Huntsville area. Next I Love shopping, Bridge St., Towne Center has some of my favorite stores such as H&M, Sephora, and some cute boutiques. If I want to enjoy a good vibe, I will go visit the Camp and listen to live music and support local businesses when they have the farmers market there. Closing out the night I’m headed to Cru Rocket City , A hookah lounge in Huntsville. Not only do they have really good drinks and a large hookah selection they also have really good food. There’s a lot of places Huntsville has to offer for a good time and I’m happy to call Huntsville My Home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate the shout out to my parents. They’ve sacrificed so much for me and has shown me examples of what it means to work hard for what you want. They have shown me the true meaning of sacrifice without wanting anything in return. it’s because of my parents ,I am the person I am today.
