Hi Lamont, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I decided to start my own landscaping business, several factors influenced my thought process. One of the key considerations was recognizing the potential of an evergreen business, one that is consistently in demand. Landscaping is an essential service, regardless of economic fluctuations. People will always require landscaping and outdoor beautification, making it a resilient and enduring industry to invest in.

Having a deep appreciation for the outdoors and nature, I envisioned a business that would allow me to merge my passion for the environment with my entrepreneurial spirit. The prospect of stepping out of traditional office spaces and working in the great outdoors was exhilarating. This change in environment provided a refreshing perspective, and the ability to contribute to the natural beauty of different spaces was highly appealing.

Furthermore, I wanted to create a scalable business model. Landscaping not only allows for scalability within a single location by adding skilled contractors and expanding service offerings, but it also offers the potential to replicate the business model in other cities by turning it into a franchise.
