Hi Lakeisha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Every since i was little i always wanted my own business! I always had the idea of starting something i loved and was knowlegable at! I started Respect The Beard with Men in mind!

The difference between most Beard Companies is that Im a Woman jumping into a mens lane! Me as a woman i appreciate the grooming of a man! I understand that men grooming is just as important to men as keeping cute is for a Woman!

Many men dont know about proper beard manintence! So thats where i come in at! With my expertise in grooming and maintaining and growing beards! The most challenging thing that i had to experience with starting a men business is to get the trust of men to get them to understand just because im a Women doesnt mean i dont have knowledge in grooming Beards!

Has it been easy no, but with every mistake i learn and correct it! The lessons i learned from having a business is that there are good days there are bad days but everyday i survived!

Whoever reads this article i want them to know that i take pride, lots of hard work, lots of time around men who need me! Lol
