We had the good fortune of connecting with LaJune Singleton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaJune, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued an artistic career because it has always taken me to a place of joy and excitement. As a child, I was introduced to fitness by my mom walking, running, and working out to Richard Simmons Sweatin’ to the Oldies. The love of being active led to become an AFPA Certified Personal Trainer in 2010. I understood that successful behaviors will lead to maintaining weight loss by addressing what keeps a person from a fantastic healthy lifestyle. This understanding led me to obtain my Nutrition & Healthy Living Certification from Cornell University in 2018. In 2019, I received my certification as a Health & Wellness Coach and am an AADP Board Certified Health Coach. In 2020, recertified advanced personal trainer and 2021, certified cycling instructor. Having transformed my mind and body to achieve my goals, I wanted to use my expertise to help others reach their desired long-term goal to BE A HEALTHIER THEM!
