We had the good fortune of connecting with L.A. SWAG 215 Lee McIntosh-Helton III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi L.A. SWAG 215, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind SWAG 100 LLC, was to re-brand HipHop culture through tailored services and media. With the current state of our HipHop culture being lime lighted with indepth lifestyles of artist and entertainment influencers, I ve noticed a shift in the media topics in discussions. Mainstream HipHop media these days are only interested in the lifestyle of these artist and entertainment influencers leading them to speak on or highlight a lot negative and even criminal things about themselves and other they may or may not be associated with. Which eventually for most of these artist and influencers find themselves in personal danger, beefs and all sorts of law or police entrapments.
There is a need for clean business and proper interviews and media representation to save the lives of those pushing the HipHop culture forward.
Our goal is to focus on the artist and entertainment influencers talents at hand versus their lifestyle. We the fans, viewers and listeners get a chance to learn the process of the artist career, projects, journey and tours through interviews or media press represent and conducted by SWAG 100 LLC. We care about preserving the lives of the people and the culture. Not glorify what the culture could die from.

What should our readers know about your business?
SWAG 100 LLC, is an American registered record label known as “One Hundred The Label” providing full services for the entertainment industry. My company provide pr & marketing solutions, strategic project management & rollouts, audio and visual campaigns, for major labels and artist. Besides providing services we run a record label currently with 2 signed artist “Mista60shotz” from Chicago Illinois and “500 Kilo” from Bristol Pa, both expecting to break 2022. We also own the #1 American HipHop Podcast called SWAG 100 PODCAST where we have interviewed elite industry artist and top NFL athletes, since launching our podcast the brand has grown and made a name for itself, being nominated Podcast of the year at the “Philly HipHop Awards” 2020 Virtual Edition, Being rated “Top 100 Podcast” on Apple, Also gaining major sponsorship with the Bottega Boyz. The podcast has evolved into a production network, recently launching our Swag 100 Podcast radiostation I personal had to build a website “swag100podcast.com” and proud to say I personally developed our SWAG100 Radio app which is now available on Google Play store. SWAG 100 PODCAST is your top choice for discovering industry secrets, advice and tips that will take your career financial lifestyle to the next level. With our curators working around the clock to provide the world with the highest quality of reliable resources and content. Our followers will have hands on access to level up their experience in the entertainment world with step by step actions to take. Our mission is to make sure music independents receive proper resources, knowledge and action base content that will take them to the next stage in their career. I started my business July of 2021 and if it’s anything I learned in this game, it was from Eness from (BadBoys) 54Ville Ent. He said “Swag’ you have to stop worrying about why this and that and everybody else, put your blinders on and focus to the point of tunnel vision. At that particular moment them words meant the world to me. I was on the verge of giving up the business, feeling unappreciated and overlooked.

In life nothing will ever come easy it’s a process in every aspect of life, only true consistency can get you closer to your goal.

I’m proud to be a black business owner, who can identify with the ones from the struggle and compete with the ones who’s most fortunate. My overall goal is to re-brand HipHop Culture through proper services and media representation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite places to hang Over all would be the Philadelphia At Museum. I love art, statues, the scenario and scene of my center from that exact area. I’m a big foodie person, my favorite thing to eat from the city if Philadelphia would be cheesesteak, I like to get my cheesecake from a spot in Summerville named Ahns which is a local store in uptown. I have no favorite places to go. I’m always in the move I this business and always find a new favorite place lol.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to say PEACE to the Nation Gods and Earth (Shoutout) True Knowledge Islam “my mentor”. Without Knowledge of Self, I would be living a savage lifestyle instead of being civilized as I am.
