We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyndle Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyndle, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my business because I had a background and education in athletic training and exercise science. As I progressed into my early 20s I found exercise, health, and wellness very exciting and. intriguing. I would find myself at my job or in class studying workouts, looking up new ways to improve my health and wellness, etc. It started to consume my life. I saw lots of different people on Instagram doing exactly what I thought would be really cool to start doing so I stepped out of Athletic training and working in a high school in Winston Salem, North Carolina to begin online training. I always had a passion for helping people as I always wanted to work in the healthcare field but this passion grew into health wellness and fitness and I’m so glad it did. I take pride in teaching my clients the no BS approaches to fitness. I help women daily from all over the world to feel confident inside and outside of the gym by teaching them the fundamentals of health and wellness and building lifestyles that are health centered and “life” proof. I have expanded my business from online to training in person as well and I honestly feel like I have the best job EVER!

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is buildmoorebodies LLC ( BMB) . My focus is to help women of color feel confident and comfortable in and out of the gym and in life. I believe my business is set apart from others just with the fact that I am all about realistic results. I do not sell tricks or gimmicks to get results I am 100% honest with my clients and with my following on social media about what works and what doesn’t. My business is inclusive meaning I provide services for many types of women ( from moms to busy professionals).

My business is Accessible, something that I have found in the fitness space is that it is a privilege to have a coach. I know in the times that we are in right now with just coming out of Covid and prices skyrocketing lots of people are stretching their dollar. I want my business to be accessible to many.

As of October 1 I have created something that I believe is going to be a game changer for many people who are wanting to have access to me as a coach but can’t afford the one on one price tag. That is my Buildmoorebodies App subscription. In the subscription, members will have access to a real strength training program, which includes video demo for each exercise. It also includes a way to track progress. I also include Weekly education and mini trainings around nutrition, goal setting and more. We aren’t just going to work out, we are learning to develop habits!!

I have gotten to where I am business wise through trial and error and INVESTING in myself. This is something that I encourage any and everyone to do at some point in their life. Whether it be business or health and wellness. Investing in yourself forces you to hold yourself to a higher standard. I knew I wanted to create a business and I knew that I didn’t know all business things so I’ve invested in courses. I invested in business coaches, I’ve invested in assistance with building my app, I’ve put my money and energy out there for growth and it always come back as a blessing. When there is something that you want and you can’t get your mind out of thinking about it every day.. MAKE an INVESTMENT even if you dont “have” the money….. find a way!!You will be glad you did!

I have learned that being true to yourself in this business is so so so important. I have created working relationships that did NOT work out. I have tried things and found that I didn’t love it, or I have even failed and that is OK. Bottom line is making sure you are being true to yourself, true to your brand and upholding your morals as an individual and as a business owner.

Buildmoorebodies is a business that is invested in women of color building a solid, healthy foundation in health and wellness. We are breaking generational curses and Leveling up as our strongest, most confident and sexy selves !!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a VERY low key person BUT I do love to explore my city. I always love checking out new little food spots/ bars on the weekends.
If I had a friend coming into town We would def be hitting up the gym a few days for a workout
We would also check out new local restaurants or bars
We would also chill a LOT, netflix and snacks on deck the whole week!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I honestly want to shout out my boyfriend zavis. I knew I had the special gift and talent in health and wellness, and I knew deep down I wanted to have my own business but I was so so scared. I met Zay and within the first week or so of us talking he was like “what are you doing?”… “you just need to do it go for it.” “Do it.” He honestly gave me the encouragement that I needed to step out and get done what I knew deep down I was capable of
