We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystle Saulsberry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystle, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
I would love for Krystle Clear Assistance to evolve into a 7 figure virtual assistance & grant writing agency where we can be of service to even more businesses and nonprofit organizations. Entrepreneurs are busy and they need qualified professionals to assist them with their much needed tasks, and I envision Krystle Clear Assistance serving as the answer to their pain points. By creating an agency, it will allow me to give opportunities to other virtual assistants to do work they enjoy to do. The agency model will also allow me to have more time to focus on my other endeavors of writing, acting, and modeling.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Krystle Clear Assistance is a virtual assistant business that helps busy entrepreneurs with their administrative tasks so they can have the “Krystle Clear” focus to grow their business and make more money.

Krystle Clear Assistance specializes in scheduling/calendar management, email management, social media management, grant writing, research, data entry, and travel arrangements.Tasks are completed with a spirit of excellence and eye for detail. Some of our current and past clients come from industries such as health/wellness, fintech, hair care, music, and marketing. I have over 10 years of administrative and customer support experience, and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Public Administration, and a Certificate in Grant Proposal Writing.

I am most proud of securing a $20,000 grant for a national nonprofit organization in 2021, and I have served as a virtual assistant for a Netflix Personality and an International Music Producer.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love downtown Atlanta, and I would take my best friend to my favorite spots which include SkyView Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, and the College Football Hall of Fame (Roll Tide!)

I am also a bit of a thrill seeker so I would also take them to Six Flags Over Georgia as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Annalisa Abel, Creator of the Ultimate Virtual Assistant Bootcamp and Owner of Elevated Assist: Before I created my business, I was offering my services as a virtual assistant to another virtual assistant agency when I came across Annalisa’s story on Business Insider. Annalisa owns a successful virtual assistant and social media management agency, and she took the time to create a bootcamp to help other current and aspiring virtual assistants become successful in the industry. She is always providing great tips and information in the virtual assistant community that she has created for her students. I admire the work that she is doing in this space, and I cannot wait to see how my business evolves as I continue to implement what I learn from her. Her course and my tenacity for achievement is the reason why I have 9 clients today. I have even had to turn away clients because I have grown so much in a short amount of time thanks to Annalisa!

Dr. Keith Campbell, Grant Writing Certification Program at Fort Hayes State University: While I was completing my Master of Public Administration at Auburn University Montgomery, I took a Fundraising and Grantsmanship class. After taking that class, I knew I wanted to offer grant writing services. After years of trying to get into the industry, a friend of mine from Jacksonville State University (Thanks Olivia Fadul!) shared with me information about Dr. Campbell and the Grant Writing Certification Program at Fort Hayes State University. He and this program were an absolute God send. His teaching style and coursework gave me the confidence to begin writing successful grant proposals. The information I learned and implemented from the program has allowed me to secure $40,000+ in grant dollars for clients. Anytime aspiring grant writers reach out to me for advice on how to get started, I always recommend the Grant Writiting Certification Program at Fort Hayes State University taught by Dr. Keith Campbell.
