We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystal Molette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystal, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I view risk as a necessary component of growth and innovation. Taking risks is about stepping outside of my comfort zone and challenging the status quo, which is essential for both personal and professional development. In my life and career, embracing risk has allowed me to explore new opportunities and push boundaries, leading to meaningful achievements and growth.

For instance, choosing to wear a bold, unconventional outfit for a high-stakes interview at Sephora was a significant risk. Most candidates would have stuck to traditional business attire, but I opted for something that reflected my unique style and creativity. This decision, while risky, paid off by making a memorable impression and demonstrating my alignment with the brand’s values. It reinforced my belief that taking risks can lead to unexpected and rewarding outcomes.

Risk-taking has also been a driving force in my journey as a personal stylist and influencer. From venturing into new areas of fashion to experimenting with different content formats, every risk I’ve taken has contributed to my growth and helped me build a distinctive personal brand. It’s through these bold choices that I’ve been able to stand out, connect with my audience, and continuously evolve in a competitive industry.

Ultimately, I see risk not as something to be feared but as an opportunity to innovate, learn, and make a lasting impact. Embracing risk has been pivotal in shaping my career and has allowed me to create a unique space for myself in the world of fashion and personal style.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to blending creativity with authenticity in the world of personal styling and influencing. My approach is deeply rooted in the belief that style should be both impactful and accessible, reflecting each individual’s true self rather than just following trends. I take pride in creating personalized experiences that empower women to embrace their unique identities and feel confident in their personal presentation.

One of the things I’m most excited about is how my journey has allowed me to inspire and transform others. From leading workshops and speaking at high-profile events to experimenting with bold fashion choices, I’ve embraced every opportunity to make a positive impact. My recent experiences, such as the high-stakes Sephora interview where I wore a daring outfit, and the Bellagio event where I creatively incorporated brand colors into my look, highlight my passion for pushing boundaries and showcasing my distinct style.

Getting to where I am today has been a journey of both triumphs and challenges. It certainly wasn’t easy—navigating a competitive industry, managing personal setbacks, and continuously evolving my brand required resilience and perseverance. Each challenge has taught me invaluable lessons, including the importance of staying true to my vision, being adaptable, and embracing risk as a catalyst for growth.

One of the key lessons I’ve learned is that success often comes from being authentic and taking calculated risks. The moments when I’ve stepped outside of my comfort zone—whether through bold fashion choices or innovative content—have been the ones that have defined my career and helped me connect deeply with my audience.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that style is not just about the clothes we wear but about the confidence and individuality they represent. My story is one of transformation and empowerment, driven by a desire to help others see the value in expressing their true selves through fashion. I am passionate about using my platform to inspire and support women as they navigate their own style journeys, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the fashion industry.
