We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystal Harriott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystal, how do you think about risk?
When I think of risk, I think about taking a chance. When you do something you have never done before, or expose yourself outside of your comfort zone. Studying holistic birth work and educating birthing rights, I knew I was taking a risk by offering the public a non-hormonal herbal birth control lubricant. There are businesses that are heavily invested in birth keeping in both women and men. Offering a healthy alternative to popular choices is a risky choice because it is health related in a very competitive market but my product is cosmetic with great benefits.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a creative, I decided I wanted to create a lifestyle for my family and I to utilize effective holistic remedies for a balanced, healthy life. Implementing natural resources into my diet and lifestyle help bring me to the place of peace. The information I have collected over time is highly useful, practical for others, valuable but not easily accessible. So I decided to teach seminars sharing information and my experience with spiritual well-being, dieting, womb wellness, birth keeping, vegan/ whole-food mommy and more. Sharing my experience created an audience and since then I have been planning and organizing myself to further assist my followers in Q&A using social media. Through my evolution I have started a herbal skin care line, selling products that many people all over the world have tried and many feel they cant live without. In just 4 years of business, FarushaKares skin care has been sold in international stores and will be launching in beauty retailers in Huntsville, Alabama. The best part of all this is being able to see my growth. From doing what I love because it allows me to be expressive, but also people sharing things they love about me to their followers and social media. I want the world to know that The Farusha Brand represents the beautiful phases of life and how to respectively appreciate the growth in each process. Our motto is “All life is worth living.” I use my brand to show the growth I experienced through my journey through products I needed during difficult points in life. My best product is my male birth control, which is a herbal spermicide lubricant that many persons can use. Its safe, effective and very pleasing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Ummm, I want to recognize a author name Susun Weed. Wise Woman Herbal books are the code to feeling safe and restored as a woman, in nature. She gives the details and she’s not afraid to acknowledge every single herb that has some sort of connection to healing and child bearing, whether information on it is abundant or limited. So shoutout master herbalist Susun Weed!
