We had the good fortune of connecting with Korra Obidi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Korra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to be free to do whatever I wanted at any time

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a product of a lot of love and care from different people in my life’s journey. Success is never easy. I have posted, trying to push my music every morning on social media for 15 years. It isn’t easy but it is worth it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First to the Beverly Center Then to my favorite hookah bar
Then to an Adukes Cuisine
Back to my local strip joint.
Holly all of Agnes for the photo ops
Home made Korra’s Kitchen delight

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
