We had the good fortune of connecting with Kobe Overton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kobe, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
I knew that I had to keep going when I had just one listener! Just one presión listening to me really made me feel like what I was doing was worth it. I started my show with the expectation that my dog and I would be the only two tuning in. Having hundreds of listeners each week was my sign that I was going the right thing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a podcast host who isn’t afraid to talk about things that are taboo! The Show Where I Ramble was purely created because I am a professional yapper lol. I can spend hours and hours chatting about things to my friends or hell, even myself. I offer the viewpoints of a chronically online 20 something year old. It definitely has not been easy balancing a full time job, social life and podcast. There have definitely been a few too many season breaks in between episodes, but the premise uis not to be too structured or take it too seriously. I wanted to have fun, spark conversation and make people laugh!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely have to get margaritas at Botica a few times through out the week! Take me to the CRU on peter street for a little night cap. And of course Anatolia has the best shisha in the city, great chill vibes and amazing food!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my friends and family for supporting me. One person in particular that consistently keeps me on my game is my friend Caitlin. Her being a business owner herself and still having the time to pour into me is just so amazing.
