We had the good fortune of connecting with Kitorah Sandy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kitorah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Initially I wanted to share my gift of intentional gifting to show others that this is a true talent and craft, a true expression of love. A true gift to perfect what others want and need without saying a word. I want to gift with a purpose, knowing that once the box is received there is nothing left to feel but joy and excitement knowing that someone thought in depth of you. After a few orders, once that happened I knew it was bigger, bigger than me. Now I’m leading into bridging the gap between small and some big business owners on how they are serving their staff, the actual people that help them get things done, meeting deadlines, checking off the checklist,etc. The real bosses behind “the boss”. There is nothing bigger than being appreciated and adding value throughout the year when you have employees that operate 24/7 to make sure that the job is done! We all know no business big or small functions without a team!

What should our readers know about your business?
Kreative Kreations by Kitorah is a luxury gift boxing service where I bring your ideas to reality kreatively, one box at a time. Each box is uniquely created just for you by answering the following questions: 1.What is your favorite color 2.What is your favorite fragrance type: sweet, fruity, floral, woodsy or natural 2. List three of your favorite snacks, treats or guilty pleasures and finally 4. Tell me about yourself, hobbies or anything that you enjoy doing. Once all questions are answered I let my creative mind do the rest, I am able to build a box based off of the five senses and it’s the best gift that you will ever receive. My proudest moment today is pushing myself beyond belief, I had no idea in the beginning that I would be successful so quickly. I invested into myself and hired a business coach , I knew nothing about the game but I knew what I wanted and I had a passion, gift and purpose behind gifting. In just a little over a year I have exceeded a 10k in 30 days challenge, been featured on three podcast, have completed 8 vendor events and this is only the start. The most important lesson that I have learned is that consistency is Key to having a successful business. I am always looking to partner with business owners who desire to love on their employees and customers all throughout the year. When people experience gratitude from their manager, they’re more productive, more efficient and more accountable. When customers feel appreciated they continue to show up and they send referrals as well. Showing appreciation through gifting for the people that show up for you is one of the best ways to keep business going. No business can stand on its own, no matter how big or small you need a team to be successful. My greatest lesson learned is that each day is not 100% planned, you never know what is or what isn’t going to happen within the business world but I will say that my faith has taken me far, the grace and favor that God has over my business has taken me places and placed me into rooms that only He could have qualified me for. I’m proud to say that Kreative Kreations is just getting started!

Friday-Drinks at The Union and dinner at The Eagle..the candy bacon is a must have!!

Saturday- Spa Day at Body Ache Escape Center after a week full of fun!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My soulmate and husband is my rock. He has been my biggest cheerleader behind it all, no matter what he has going on he drops it all for me when it comes to my business. His love, support and encouragement has kept me going consistently. He is the true definition of the “perfect business partner”. Outside of my faith and where God has carried me , he gets an A+ for all that he does behind the scenes!
