We had the good fortune of connecting with Kioka Tuck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kioka, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Stepping Out on Faith! I am an introvert and sometimes I don’t like to do a lot of talking, especially around people I don’t know. I realized that when I step out and get out of my comfort zone, my brand flourishes.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an educator and I will Graduate with a Master’s degree this year so I am proud of that! I am also proud that I am an Author! I started my college career at Tuskegee University and transferred to Auburn University at Montgomery. I am in grad school at Jacksonville State University. Reading Specialist in the making! It was not easy, a lot of hard work and some sacrifices, but I am thankful. I have learned patience and how to love myself. Self-Care is a must! Miss T’s Book Room educating others on culture and art through, especially young people. I am also a Literacy Advocate!
