Meet Kim Kirkley

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim Kirkley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kim, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
I don’t believe it’s best to create your own digital product right away. Yes, everyone says “create a digital product” – it’s become the go-to advice in this billion-dollar industry. But I think your first venture should be a done-for-you digital product with proven results.
Here’s why: When you start with a done for you product, you learn the most crucial skill of our time – marketing and selling – while getting paid to learn. You’re not risking months creating a product that might flop. You’re getting real clients, real money, and real experience from day one.
Once you master client acquisition and delivery, then you can scale into products you create from your own expertise. But starting with done for you gives you the foundation, the cash flow, and the market knowledge that most product creators skip – which is exactly why 90% of digital products fail.
Learn to sell first. Independent products can come later.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the founder of InvestLearnEarn.com and creator of the Rest Creates Revenue™ philosophy. My business is all about helping everyday people—especially women and men over 40 and solo moms—build digital income streams they can manage in just 2 hours a day. I teach digital marketing through done-for-you systems and show folks how to get paid simply by being themselves. No tech overwhelm. No complicated funnels. Just peace, profit, and purpose.
What sets me apart is the heart behind the hustle. I’m not just selling products—I’m offering a path to freedom for people who’ve been left out of the traditional wealth conversation. I used to be a burned-out attorney, grieving the sudden loss of my best friend and dealing with heart palpitations from stress. I realized I needed a new way to live—one where I could protect my peace, raise my kids, and still earn abundantly.
It wasn’t easy. I had to unlearn a lot of “grind culture” thinking and trust that rest could actually be productive. I also had to push past fear and skepticism—especially after spending money on programs that didn’t deliver. But I kept going. I trusted that if I could find a way through, I could bring others with me.
I’m most proud of the women and men in my community who are finally saying yes to themselves, earning from their phones, and creating soft, sovereign lives. I’m excited about where we’re going—building generational wealth without burnout.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s this:
You don’t have to work yourself into the ground to be worthy of wealth.
You can build a beautiful life, on your terms, starting right where you are.
I’m living proof—and I’m here to show others how.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In ATL? I would have to ask my cousin Charmin Lee who is a brilliant actor, producer and director.
In Brooklyn where I live if it is the summer I would take them to Brooklyn Bridge Park to see iconic views of New York City and enjoy pizza on the rooftop of Fornino’s in the Park. Then to get a sense of the culture of the area that gave us Biggie Smalls and many artists we would head to Fort Greene and take a walking tour of the murals to Biggie Smalls, walk by Spike Lee’s office and Fort Greene Park where many early hip hop videos were filmed. Then we would head to habana Outpost for tacos and people watching. We would end the night a Brooklyn Moon for cocktails and fun. Brooklyn Moon hosted many spoken word performances in the 90s and still holds the heartbeat of artsy black brooklyn.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
May I give you 3: Taijaun Rashad and his Theme Pages Mastery program introduced me to the idea of making income with social media. I was a part of his mastermind and built a solid foundation of knowledge which I continue to build upon. Maxwell Cole who has studied digital marketing, drop shipping and is a positive thinking Christian man has encouraged me in my online endeavors in so many ways. And Michele O’Neil the founder of the Digital Growth Community has distilled digital marketing information in a way that makes it so easy to understand and implement. She has created millionaires and 6-figure earners within our community and I am so glad to be a part of it.
