We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiandra Copeland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kiandra, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
I believe the most important thing I have done to impact my child life was to have him tested for Autism disorder. As parents we have this idea that our children are perfect & we compare them to their peers. We ignore the signs that just maybe there is something hidden that is hindering our child from reaching their greatest potential. As a mother it wasn’t an easy decision but it was the best decision I could have made in regards to my son. It has allowed me to truly understand who my child is and how he relates to the world. Through this process not only have I learned alot about myself but I also have become a better mother.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of my ability, a makeup artist and Paparazzi Accessories consultant, to uplift women and helping them put their best image forward by enhancing their natural beauty. I coudn’t have gotten this far if it wasn’t for hardwork, dedication, making sacrifices, investing in trainings but most importantly keeping God and my “WHY” in the center of my businesses has help me to get to where I am today professionally. It definity wasn’t easy. There will be time where I started to doubt or second guess myself and my abilities. The best way to overcome any challenges are by facing them. Find a way or strategize how to overcome the challenges. If one plan didn’t work, then go back to the drawing board and create a new direction. I’ve learned that you have to be consistent and just celebrate your accomplishments no matter how small they may seem. Til this day, it’s still a lesson I am learning throughout my journey. Unique Kouture Jewels and Kiandra Copeland Makeup Artisty are my expression of my love for beauty, fashion, and enhancing a woman’s natural beauty. I love to see women feeling confident and authetically beautiful in their own skin,

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t have a favorite spot in the city per say. I love everything about the city and the vibes. A food spot that I would definitely go eat is THAT Burger Spot, they have the best vegan Philly, ‘THAT Impossible ATL! Suite Food Lounge, would another spot to hit for good drinks and brunch on the weekends. Then Sip n’ Skate at the Metro Fun Center in East Point, GA on Saturday night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The biggest shout out has to go to my son. He’s the foundation of my legacy. But I also have to include my best friends, my Spiritual/Godmother, family, friends, and supporters. Whenever I’m in doubt or on the verge of just want to give up; those people have always been my corner. Constantly reminding why of my purpose……my “WHY!” Without God, my son, and my support system, I could not have made it this far. I am so so so thankful for them but also grateful for God placing some wonder and amazing people in my life.
