We had the good fortune of connecting with Kia Eaton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I saw a need for custom clothing to fit unique figures. It took a lot of trial and error but making custom clothing for women that couldn’t find clothes that fit their body type made me happy as well as proud I was able to fill the void even if it was a small one.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the owner of K.E.A. Couture LLC (Kapturing Everyone’s Attention) I design and create clothes for women of all sizes. What excites me most about this is being able to think of a design draw it and bring it to life and see it on someone along with their excitement. It took years to cultivate and grow my clientele. With persistence and drive I was able to push through many obstacles some making me want to quit others discouraging me but I pressed forward. It wasn’t always easy but I tend to see and make the best out of everything. So that alone helped me get through the hard times. I’ve learned to make sure I always educate myself and cultivate my craft daily. Learn new things and new techniques so I wouldn’t fall behind. What I would like the world to know about me and my brand is this, I’m one of a kind myself so my brand has no choice to be the same. I’m determined to make a mark on women all over one by one. My creations are infused with love and I would like to encourage all women to be confident in themselves no matter what!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place to eat would be Scalinis in Cobb county. And you have to experience any outlet Tanger south or North would work. Atlantic station is really nice as well I would definitely stop through there. Perimeter Mall as well for shopping. And depending on the weather, Six flags! Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my closest family they have pushed me to go past all limits and they support and encourage me through everything.
