We had the good fortune of connecting with Khushi Patel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khushi, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want people to remember me for my dedication to making a difference through my work. Whether it’s through the art I create, the projects I lead, or the initiatives I support, I aim to contribute to a more thoughtful and empathetic world. I hope that my work will continue to inspire future generations to pursue their passions and to think deeply about the impact they can have on others.

Personally, I strive to be remembered as someone who was kind, supportive, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Professionally, I hope to leave a legacy of innovation and excellence, demonstrating that it’s possible to achieve great things while staying true to one’s values.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
XVI was 2 years in the making and officially launched November 14, 2023! The biggest challenge I faced was with formulating; I knew I wanted the product to be multi-use, that worked for all skin types, it needed to be all natural and unisex. To overcome these parameters, I stayed focused and positive; with numerous trials and errors, I was able to develop this ultimate beauty elixir made up of only 8 ingredients. Prior to launching I worked with SULA Labs in Los Angeles who did the clinical testing for Aurora. What sets XVI’s Aurora apart is not just its natural ingredients or luxurious texture but the transformative experience it offers. It’s more than skincare; it’s a ritual of self-care and connection to nature, designed to nourish the skin and uplift the spirit. I would like XVI to be known for its less is more philosophy that emphasizes simplicity, minimalism and the idea that reducing unnecessary elements can lead to greater clarity, effectiveness, and beauty. I want the world to know about XVI’s Good Karma Initiative which is:

At XVI, we’ve always believed that the actions we take and the choices we make have the power to shape the world. Our commitment to this belief led us to create the “Good Karma Initiative,” where we pledge to donate 50% of our net profits to a variety of charitable organizations and causes.

The “Good Karma Initiative” is not just a program; it was born out of a deep sense of purpose and a desire to give back to the communities and causes that need it most.

Each year, we will carefully select a portfolio of charitable partners who share our vision and values. These organizations work tirelessly in areas such as youth development, hunger relief, animal welfare, and environmental conservation. By supporting them, we contribute to meaningful change in these vital areas.

But the “Good Karma Initiative” is about more than just financial contributions. It’s about embodying the principle of Karma – the idea that our actions have consequences, and positive actions lead to positive outcomes. We believe that when we do good, it comes back to us in unexpected and beautiful ways.

The “Good Karma Initiative” is a promise to do well by doing good. It’s a testament to our dedication to building a better, more equitable world for all. Together, with your trust and support, we can create ripples of positivity that touch the lives of countless individuals and communities.
