Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Everyone has a story, and it’s truly an honor to hold space for others as they share theirs. My own career has been a journey of growth, resilience, and continuous learning. What sets me apart is my deep commitment to understanding and empathizing with the unique stories of each individual I serve. I am most proud of the impact I’ve been able to make in people’s lives—helping them find their voice, overcome obstacles, and embrace their authentic selves.
Getting to where I am today professionally hasn’t always been easy. Like many, I faced challenges and setbacks along the way. However, I learned that these moments are opportunities for reflection and growth. Each challenge taught me lessons in patience, perseverance, and the importance of compassion—both for myself and others.
Throughout my journey, I’ve come to realize that connection is at the heart of transformation. My work is rooted in the belief that everyone’s story matters, and that sharing our stories can be a powerful act of healing and empowerment. I want the world to know that my brand is about creating a safe space for authentic expression—where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. My story is one of hope and resilience, and I am dedicated to walking alongside others as they discover their own strength and voice.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting and I wanted to give them the best week ever, I’d craft a fun, memorable itinerary that highlights the best of what Atlanta has to offer.
We’d start our mornings with a visit to **Cafe Intermezzo**—an elegant and beautiful spot known for its incredible coffees and cheesecakes. It’s the perfect place to relax, chat, and soak in the charming ambiance. Afterwards, we’d explore some local attractions like the Atlanta Botanical Garden or the Atlanta History Center to get a taste of the city’s rich culture and history.
For lunch, I’d take them to some of my favorite spots—perhaps **Ponce City Market**, where we can enjoy a variety of delicious foods and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. In the afternoons, we might stroll through Piedmont Park or visit the High Museum of Art.
In the evenings, Atlanta really comes alive, especially during sports seasons. I’d definitely take them to see a game—whether it’s the **Atlanta Hawks**, **Atlanta Braves**, **Atlanta United** (soccer), or the **Atlanta Dream** (WNBA). Nothing beats the energy of a live game, and it’s a fantastic way to experience the city’s passionate sports culture.
To unwind, we’d check out some of Atlanta’s lively neighborhoods like Midtown or Buckhead, enjoying good drinks and conversation. Maybe end the trip with a nightcap at a cozy rooftop bar, overlooking the city skyline.
Some of the most exciting parts of Atlanta are the diverse people, the vibrant arts scene, and the blend of history and modernity. It’s a city full of interesting places and dynamic energy—perfect for creating unforgettable memories with a dear friend.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my alma mater, Albany State University, for all the support and encouragement I received from my faculty advisors, professors, and classmates. We truly are a family, and I will be forever grateful for their guidance and kindness throughout my journey of becoming a licensed professional mental health counselor,
