We had the good fortune of connecting with Khrim Reaper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khrim, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I decided to pursue an artistic career because i’m passionate about creating. When i’m passionate about something i find comfort in not only doing it, but, learning new things about it and getting better as well.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is how i tell my story as well as my style and how i put together anything i create. I’m most proud about the fact that i never give up, no matter how long it may take me to finish a project or how frustrated i may get i always come back around to it or i keep trying until it’s my idea of perfect. I grew up following my father’s footsteps, he’s one of the best artists I know. By the time I enrolled into school I was able to look at and draw things really well without tracing. As I progressed through school, I enrolled in courses that would help me grow as an artist. Even if those courses weren’t art classes, I still found a way to create. I’ve worked with a variety of mediums such as; collage art, found objects, acrylic paints, charcoal, and watercolors as well as three dimensional mediums such as modeling and construction. Even after the many projects I had done, I still wanted to do and learn more things. Eventually I took a graphic design course and familiarized myself with Adobe Creative Cloud. I began creating these dope, vibrant characters and scenery for my brand as well as logos and designs for other brands. People look at a lot of my work whether it’s a painting, my music, or stickers and can either relate or find peace of mind within it and that’s one of my favorite things about creating. Even if i’m not too fond of something i’ve created somebody around me will always see the bigger picture. The more I’ve experienced life, the better my work has gotten as well as my love for what i do.
