Meet Khi & Caleb YoungCreatorZ | Media Production

We had the good fortune of connecting with Khi & Caleb YoungCreatorZ and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Khi & Caleb, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned in the creative world is that; Ideas are alive and if you don’t act on them, they’ll move on to someone else. We’ve had moments where we came up with something powerful, something fresh, and told no one but each other. But because we didn’t nurture it or move on it fast enough, we watched someone else bring a similar idea to life. That’s when we realized… ideas aren’t just thoughts they’re like energy. And some of us live on a frequency where those ideas can find us. But if we don’t honor them, protect them, act on them they’ll leave and find someone who will. So now, whenever something sparks, we move quick. Because momentum loves movement and creativity rewards action.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our art is rooted in truth, curiosity, and community. We’re visual storytellers — photographers, filmmakers, content creators — but at the core, we’re just young people documenting the beauty, the chaos, and the evolution of our world as we live it.
What sets us apart is the way we blend culture with connection. We don’t just create content — we capture energy. Whether it’s a branding shoot, a mini-doc, a podcast, or a photojournalistic series, we aim to tell stories that feel honest and human. We’re most drawn to the moments in between — the subtle, the unspoken, the soul of a scene.
We’re proud of a lot, but a few things stand out:
– Photosations, a visual conversation series born from the raw, unfiltered talks we have with our subjects mid-shoot.
– The Almost Dropouts, our podcast where we highlight the struggles, breakthroughs, and lessons of young creatives, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who chose their own path.
– The YoungCreatorZ Archives, a living time capsule of our journey — documenting our growth, our friendships, and our pursuit of freedom as young artists in real time.
– And most recently, our first live audience show, where we brought together creatives in Atlanta to explore the pillars of building an authentic brand. That night was special — a real moment of alignment and proof that this thing we’re building means something.
This all started in a garage during the pandemic; no budget, just a camera and a dream. And no, it wasn’t easy. We’ve had to learn how to lead while still growing ourselves. We’ve faced burnout, doubt, and the weight of chasing a vision that sometimes only we could see. But we kept going because we knew our story deserved to exist.
The biggest lesson we’ve learned is simple but deep:
Start before you’re ready. Move with what you have. The most powerful thing you can do is begin.
What we want the world to know is this:
YoungCreatorZ is more than a media brand; it’s a movement.
A home for artists who never felt like they fit inside the box. A platform for stories that matter. A reminder that even when you don’t have it all figured out, your voice still matters. Your vision still matters.
We’re still writing the story, but we’re doing it our way, on our terms, with cameras in hand and community in heart.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a good friend of ours was in town for the week, I’d give them the real Atlanta — not just what’s trending, but the spots that hold culture, history, and energy you can feel.
We’d start downtown in the Edgewood and Auburn Avenue district — one of the most historically rich parts of Atlanta. It’s where the past and present collide. I’d walk them through the blocks where legends marched, lived, and built. You can feel the spirit of the city in the bricks and murals. I want them to see what Atlanta used to be so they can appreciate where it’s going.
From there, we’d post up on the eastside — where we really move day-to-day. That includes late-night runs to Steak ’n Shake, kicking it around Yellow River, and hitting up different recording and photography studios across East Atlanta. That’s where a lot of our best memories and ideas come from — it’s not just where we hang, it’s where we build.
We’d eat soul food one day, Caribbean the next, and probably hit up a food truck lot before the week’s over. Somewhere in the mix, I’d take them to Cam Kirk Studios or a similar space just to show how much the creative scene here is growing. It’s not just art for art’s sake — it’s culture in motion.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, we’d like to thank God and our parents — the foundation. They’ve guided us during moments when we weren’t sure what the future held. There’s never been a point in our story where we felt handicapped by them — they’ve always stood in our corner, encouraging us to fight, to grow, and to figure things out on our own. And because of that, our future victories will mean even more — because they weren’t handed to us, they were earned with love behind us. We also want to give deep thanks to our friends and community — the ones who believe in us even when they can’t fully see the vision we carry. That type of belief? It fuels us. Without their energy, support, and presence, the road would’ve felt a lot heavier. We’re not doing this alone — every step is built on the people who chose to stand beside us, not just when things looked good, but when they were still forming.
