We had the good fortune of connecting with Khefna ! and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khefna, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Overtime I have learned to go to work and create throughout work to balance out the time Im missing from working on my music. That could be listening to beats while i’m at work, to finding melodies and writing lyrics at work. Not many can do it but I have been doing it for so long it comes to me easier than others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart is that everything I make I always try to put people in a trance I like to call my music ear candy, I made my first song on a Xo One Force Headset which was a pretty good song called “OUT MY WAY” featuring my bro solelyjack. Thats when I knew I was good at making music, I didn’t start taking music serious until 2021-2022 thats around the time I made “Hurtn baby” one of my favorite singles.. I want to shoutout to the artists i listen to heavy who goes by the name of khefna! Without him I prolly would have given up on myself along time ago, shoutout to my Mother shes helps keep going, and my Friends of course I try to push them as hard as I push myself with their creativity. I want the world to know I am just like them I just dedicate my life to art and being creative and anything god wants for them in life will come with time and patience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout to the artists i listen to heavy who goes by the name of khefna! Shoutout to my jamaican family who helped me listen to different dancehall at a young age which I believe Helps me find my melodies In my music.
