We had the good fortune of connecting with Khaviaè and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khaviaè, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I was born on the east coast and raised on the west coast. Growing up I didn’t see color and I didn’t know anything about being misfortunate; I was happy. I’m yet happy, in spite of my gender being slighted and my race being the top hated race in the world. This young black woman saw pass all obstacles and created a universal brand for ALL, not just blacks, but again, for all peoples’. I love s’s, lol.

There’s no discrimination in my brand. What’s wrong with all colors and genders batting beautiful lashes and having greasy lips with healthy looking eyebrows? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.!

My brand embraces beauty with a smile because I’m witty with it and I have good mentals.

Meet Thuh Browns (Lips Grease)
Shut’Em (Eye Wigs)
Hairy’s (Eye Wigs)
Sugar Lipscious Scrub-a-dub (Lip scrub)
Bat’Em (Eye Wigs)
Thickn’em Lash and Brow Serum

The names say it all.

Signed, Me:-)

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m in my first few months of business and it’s going good.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Santa Monica Pier. Everything is there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
