We had the good fortune of connecting with Keyshia Gee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keyshia, why did you pursue a creative career?
I would say it chose me! I always thought that, my career would be something I had to go out and learn & hone in on, as a new skill. However, hair & makeup was very second nature for me, So it took me a little while to figure out that the skill was always there & choosing a career in the beauty field was the only thing that made sense to me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What’s sets me apart from other business the same industry is that I truly love what I am doing & helping other women build their confidence is what it’s all about for me. Some might think that confidence starts on the inside, but I believe that it can start from the outside, In. When you look good, you feel good. & having beautiful hair can be that start. We focus on making sure, that all wigs are custom made to each clients head, so it a perfect fit every time. From the color, to the cut & style, we keep our clients in mind.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family always believed in me & that keeps me going! Leading by example to show them you don’t have to be a product of your environment. They are a huge reason why I push so hard. I probably wouldn’t have had as much fun on this journey had it not been for the friends that turned into family. Atlanta has been my home away from home, and it’s like I have an extended family, I appreciate them so much because they just are so supportive and there for me anytime I need them. I don’t have the words to say how grateful I am for them.
