We had the good fortune of connecting with Keshia L. Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keshia L., what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well I have a passion for wanting to help those in need, and having a big heart. I’ve been told I’m a great judge of character, and I have high level of integrity. I always wanted to become a therapist however I set my sights on becoming a life coach to help inspire others that have become stagnant in their way of life, and just inspire them to move diligently to the next level of elevation.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well I figured no time like the present I had been working on my book since 2014 and I revised in 2016. My mom passing away pushed me to putting my love for poetry and writing in motion to get it out there! I figured I couldn’t be the only one facing discomfort and unhappiness in relationships so I went ahead and self published my self expression through Amazon kindle publishing and got out in the world. I wanted to heal from my pass transgressions and trauma. I also wanted to let other people know it’s ok to have given your all to someone and know you’ve done your best. It’s there loss if they couldn’t receive what you wanted to give them. The road wasn’t easy at all it’s still a process, some days you want to give up, but you keep pushing because it’s your dream and no one can take that a way from you. They say if you do what you love you’ll Never work a day in your life and that’s my self preservation to keep elevating to the top! I learned that tenacity and knowledge will give you the momentum to keep pursuing the gift that God has given you to master. I want the world to know healing is necessary and your story is yours to tell, no one cannot take from you what they haven’t given you. The world can only receive you as a diamond that was meant to shine immensely!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I live in ATL me and the besties would start… Sunday with brunch at
Breakfast at Barney’s downtown.
Monday we’d do lunch at PAPPADEAUX Seafood Kitchen.
Tuesday we could grab breakfast at Flavor Rich Located in Suwanee, I’m a big seafood lover!!! However they have a variety of different things on the menu that are wonderful!!
Wednesday could be a nice drink and mixer at Del Frisco’s Grille in Buckhead.
Thursday would be more like Barcelona Wine Bar in the Highlands.
Friday we could mix it up in the city at Ponce City Market and take it up to the roof top for more drinks and miniature golf.
Saturday could be a great time at Poor Calvin’s because they’re a great fusion place and the ambiance is alluring!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will like to give a thanks to Author Sharon Mae King for the recommendation, and her awesome philanthropy work she has been evolving in quite naturally. She’s more than just a friend she’s family.

My Shout Out will most definitely have to go to my late mother Ms. Simett Williams, without her there wouldn’t been a me. I had to grasp maturity at a very young age, and my worst decision grew me. My mother had become Ill in March of 2014 and we took a great loss in July of 2019. I promised myself after I graduated high school I would write me a book. I did just that however the desktop that we owned at the time had crashed, and I put my dreams on hold. I started working, and God blessed me with the fortitude to have a career in the federal government after I had dropped out of Essex County College. Moving forward I would later turn to working at another Federal facility, and figured no time like the present to finish what I started back in 2014.
