We had the good fortune of connecting with Keshana Williams-Weaver and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keshana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my first business in 2013. When I first decided to pursue entrepreneurship I had just been fired from my corporate job and I never wanted to have my life in someone else’s hands. Being able to get up everyday and make something out of nothing was my biggest motivation. I was a single young mother and I was destined to be an example for her .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I do consider myself an Entrepreneur and Power Broker. I have a successful inflatable and concession rental company. I am also ceo of my own tax preparation and consulting company. Both companies are over 10yrs old . I am most proud that I have been able to stay in business over a decade. There have been times I wanted to give up from low invoices. I just continued to rebrand and grow my knowledge. I always built my brand on customer service and honesty

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Atlanta even though I’m from Miami I have been living in Atlanta more than half my life. Atlanta has so many great places to eat I love lil 5 points the bars and eclectic boutiques. Atlanta has the best belt line for a great experience of the city and food and drinks .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Being able to have my first business be 11yrs old and my second business being 10yrs old . I would definitely like to recognize family and friends. Having a supportive system around allowed me to grow my business from word of mouth before social networking. Most of my clients were and still are close family and friends.
