We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenya Powell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenya, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My Brand helps the community and women all over the world because it helps them be themselves and be confident no matter their size or race.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is I’m not just a boutique owner. I produce runway shows&I have a podcast along with a Tutoring Program. I’m a Serial Entrepreneur. I have been in the fashion industry for 10 years. I have showcased in Det, Chi, LA, Atl, Etc just to name a few. I have learned many lessons but the most valuable one is to always remain professional and be selective of the ppl you allow in your Life. It’s a Privilege to know me!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My Favorite places in Atl are Milk&Honey, Cirque, Blaqhaus, Magic City&The Bailey Wine Cellar.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my story to my Mom Vanessa who passed away in 2011.
