We had the good fortune of connecting with Kennedi Sinclair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kennedi, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ve never been afraid to take risk. At my age, I’ve come to realize that you either have the pain or sacrifice or the pain of regret. Sometimes we focus so much on “the risk” more than we focus on the potential reward. One thing I encourage everyone around me to do is, bet on themselves. You’ll never know what could come about if you don’t bet on yourself… and actually believe that you can get things done. I’ve learned that as a young woman it’s impossible for me to not make mistakes, but it’s the lesson I learn during and after. At this current moment , taking risk has taught me to believe a lot sooner, a lot faster in my business, my ideas, and the goals I have for my life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Starting a business from scratch is not easy! From graphics, to marketing and finding the perfect target audience there were a lot of sleepless nights. While Private Party is still under 2 months old, we plan to make a major impact. From products to educational resources, there’s just so much to expect from us. Private Party, is more then just feminine care. It’s a lifestyle. We’re proud and grateful for all the community support we’ve received this far!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question! Without a doubt everyone loves Buckhead/Lenox area, so a quick drive through there to sight see. It’s host to a lot of vibes, fun places to visit and overall site see. First on the list would definitely be either brunch at Toast on Lenox, to try my FAVORITE seafood dip followed by some shopping. And possibly ending dinner at Pasha! I know Atlanta is home to tons of museums but visiting those would be a first for me too!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shout-out God, for opening doors for me within rooms I haven’t been in. And my mom for showing me how to make a difference not only in my life but in the life of others. Lastly, to so many of my friends and social media family  it’s crazy how God brings people into your life from all over the world.
