We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenion Sherrill and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kenion, how do you think about risk?
I think taking a risk is worth doing. Even if it works out it not, it will always be a listen learned. Take the best educated risk tho.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I set my self up to be Charlotte’s premier playa rapper. I continued to work on something that made me happy. Something that became bigger than just me. Oh naw it’s never easy. It’s been hard and it still is hard. But I love a challenge. I love setting a goal and meeting it. And if I don’t I learn from it. I learned that I can’t do any of this alone. It takes a whole dedicated team to complete the mission and I appreciate everyone that I have in my corner. I want the world to know what it looks like when you stick to your funds and making your dreams come true.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Thomas Street Tavern. It’s a lil hole in the wall joint perfect spot to pre game and hang out for a while. Downtown is always good for bar hopping. The South End area be jumping every now and again. Mostly the local shows and events are the things to do in the city. Those are the best places to meet folks and network.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
