We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelvin Vincent and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelvin, how does your business help the community?
Growing up in an environment of domestic violence, I couldn’t save my mom from being a victim. But now, as a fashion stylist, I use my superpowers to transform women and boost their confidence. By helping them feel their best, I give them the strength to claim their power. I also use my platform to raise awareness about important women’s issues through campaigns. My creativity and talent inspire others to embrace their personal style, and in turn, support local businesses and artisans in the fashion industry and my society.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing I’m proud about is the fact that I’m acknowledged as one of the best fashion stylists in Ghana. I also take great pride in is my commitment to embracing new beginnings and being open to change. I believe that this mindset allows me to constantly evolve and bring fresh perspectives to my work. I also have a very bubbly personality which easily draws you in to me so most brands want to work with me because I’m able to gel with almost anyone.

Getting to where I am today in the business world definitely wasn’t easy. Like any journey, I faced challenges along the way. However, I firmly believe that it’s through these challenges that we grow and learn valuable lessons. I overcame obstacles by staying resilient, remaining passionate about my craft, and surrounding myself with a supportive network of friends and mentors.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of collaboration and building strong relationships. Working with talented individuals and fostering a sense of teamwork has been instrumental in the success of my brand. I also learned the significance of staying true to myself my vision and my clients and not being afraid to take risks.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that I strive to create fashion that celebrates individuality, empowers others, and makes a positive impact. I’m big on women empowerment because of my childhood experiences so I strive to create awareness of empowerment through my new platform which is a fashion magazine called Euphoria Africa.

Ultimately, I’m excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead. I’m constantly inspired by the phenomenal women around me and the positive impact they have on society. Most of my clientele are women and their influence drives me to continue pushing boundaries and creating fashion that tells a meaningful story.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible individuals who have played a pivotal role in my journey. Firstly, I am immensely grateful for my two brilliant assistants, Ruth and Abena, whose dedication and talent have been instrumental in my success. Additionally, I owe a debt of gratitude to my two best friends, Collins Paon and Joselyn Dumas, who have been my unwavering support system throughout. While I had to start from scratch and rely on a few connections along the way, it was ultimately my hard work that propelled me to where I am today. The fashion industry can be tough, but I couldn’t have persevered without their unwavering emotional support. They wholeheartedly believed in my vision and have been there for me every step of the way.
