We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelvi Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelvi, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success in my brand is being consistent and having patience. You have your good days and you’ll have your slow days. When you have a passion for what you do , you don’t give up because of those slow days, you find other strategies to make your business even better to prevent slow days.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I took a break from working for anybody , and i took some time to work for myself and spend time with my daughter. What sets me apart from others is, i don’t feel the need to fit in , I’m different so i know I’ll always stand out. Patience got me to where i am today , love got me to where i am today , being a young parent got me to where i am today , struggling and not wanting to go back to that got me to where i am today. In life nothing is easy , but i never complain, i over came a lot of challenges by getting closer to God. The lessons i learned along the way is , people may try to tarnish your character , or even try to put you down/business , but i want to say to any other young or older females or males , don’t let that stop you from achieving what you started, let that be your motivation. My brand is not a hobby , it’s a PASSION , i will always protect my brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely introduce my friend to the Domain , the domain has plenty of stores to shop at and great food. All great vibes. Kalahari Resorts is very fun , you can enjoy time to lay back in water , they have great drinks , food and you can even get a hotel as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Madison Parks deserve credit and recognition in my story, although she is younger , age is not a factor. She helped me a lot in the beginning and she doesn’t even know it. Listening to her and watching her progress with her own business as well, made me so happy. Any questions i had , she would answer with no hesitation. She kept me going on my bad days and didn’t even know it. I thank her for that.
