Hi Keisha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started Hype Me Up K Marie LLC to combine my passion for uplifting others with my expertise in media and marketing. Having spent years helping people as a coach, teacher, and mentor, I wanted to create a business that empowered small businesses and entertainers to grow and succeed. My goal was to provide solution-based strategies to help brands achieve visibility and impact, drawing from my own experiences as a mother, a leader in women’s organizations, and my journey with my nonprofit, “Fit for a Purpose.” At the heart of Hype Me Up K Marie LLC is my desire to help others unlock their true potential and thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Keisha Spencer, also known as K Marie, is a mother of three and a dynamic professional with a versatile career spanning education, property management, retail, healthcare communication, and event coordination. Based in Mableton, Georgia, she has a proven track record of leadership, team management, and strategic planning, consistently delivering exceptional results across various industries.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Keisha decided to pursue entrepreneurship. After working in radio and gaining a deeper understanding of media and marketing, she expanded her career into filming in 2024, where she gained valuable experience in production. Now, she is eager to explore the world of acting and further her skills in the entertainment industry.
Keisha is the founder of two impactful ventures: Fit for a Purpose, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and tutoring youth, and Hype Me Up K Marie LLC, a media coaching and marketing firm that empowers small businesses and entertainers through strategic branding. She has earned recognition as an Amazon Bestselling Author and serves as a national radio personality, further expanding her influence in media and entertainment.
Keisha’s diverse expertise, coupled with her passion for helping others, positions her as a leader in both her local community and the broader professional landscape.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots in Atlanta include simply exploring the city and taking in the sights. Downtown is filled with amazing landmarks, and I also really enjoy the beauty of the Stone Mountain area. But what I love most is networking and meeting new people, so I’m always on the lookout for exciting events happening around the city!
