Meet Keiko | Actor & Model & Translator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keiko and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keiko, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business exists to spread understanding and respect. Through creative work, I actively cultivate a community where people support one another, embrace differences, and connect through empathy and shared values.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a model and creative director. At the core of my work are two missions: to tell stories through my creations, and to represent myself in a way that helps redefine existing standards.

The world is vast, ideas are limitless, and information is constantly overflowing—sometimes to the point of being overwhelming. In that environment, I believe it’s more important than ever to understand that each of us is the main character of our own story. When we choose to be honest with ourselves and live authentically, we create space to share love, perspective, and meaning with others.

Professionally, my journey hasn’t been linear or easy. I entered the industry by listening to my intuition rather than following a clearly defined path. I faced moments of uncertainty, inexperience, and self-doubt, but I overcame them by staying curious, learning relentlessly, and surrounding myself with communities that valued growth, respect, and positivity.

What sets my art apart is intention. I don’t create to fit into trends. I create to understand myself. Through that process of self-love and self-representation, I hope my work invite others to see themselves more clearly as well.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For me, the most fun and exciting experiences come from a mixture of meaningful culture, nature, and places made with love.

I love places that feel local and are created by people who truly love what they are doing. So, I would take my friends to my friends’ restaurants or friends house lol or something like that. I think you can really feel the heart in those places.

Nature is also important to me. I’d take them somewhere outdoors, maybe some activities too, as well as to destinations that have a deep cultural background, such as temples and shrines. And of course, good food is essential.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Infinite Appeal — the modeling community at GSU.

I want to dedicate my shoutout to Infinite Appeal, a community filled with incredible leaders and team members who radiate support and positive energy.

It’s been almost two years since I was actively involved in the Atlanta community, yet the lessons I learned there still serve as my axis today. I entered the modeling and acting industry simply because my heart told me to, without much experience at all. Through Infinite Appeal, I didn’t just learn etiquette and technical skills; I learned the mindset that keeps me focused, grounded, and growing as a model.

Even now, I love watching my teammates achieve new milestones day by day. We celebrate each other, support one another, and consistently share positive energy. That culture of encouragement is something I’m deeply proud of. And it is something I hope to continue spreading and sustaining wherever my journey takes me.
